  • THE KITCHEN
  • The kitchen is part of the flow of the dance. It is not separate from our practice, it is another expression of it. Our meals are prepared with deep love and care, nourishing our dancing bodies while strengthening the web of connection between us. Here, food is more than sustenance. It is fuel for our movement, medicine for our bodies and hearts, and the living hub of our community. Cooked intuitively on red earth country, each meal responds to the energy of the group and the Wave; grounding, uplifting, restoring, and replenishing as needed. As part of our kitchen care practice, every dancer is included in the shared rhythm of meal preparation and washing up. This is not simply a task, but a way to integrate your process, build new friendships, and participate in the life of the camp. When we tend the kitchen together, we remember that we are one living organism. Each contribution supports the whole. In this way, we keep the health of our camp vibrant, connected, and strong.
